Steven E. Brunette began his legal
career in 1974 working as an in-house law clerk and later Corporate Counsel in the Finance and Real Estate Development
Industry with a New York Conglomerate, then City Investing Corp., moving into the Food Industry in 1978 with then another
New York behemoth, Norton Simon Inc.
Having been through five acquisitions/mergers
of that Company's parent organization(s), ending up in the ConAgra group of companies, he recognized the growth in the nutritional
supplements and dietary ingredients arena, joining Leiner Health Products as its General Counsel in 1997.
Recognizing the needs of the "smaller"
and mid-market food and nutritionals manufacturers, he began his own Law Firm in 1999 and, after a brief association with
a smaller private practice, has continued to build his client base and broaden his legal experience in the fastest growth
sector of the food business -- dietary supplements & nutraceuticals.
